In the Magistrates' Court, 738 charges of aggravated assault of a male aged under 14 years, or of any female were sentenced in the three years to 30 June 2023. The most common sentence for a charge of this offence was imprisonment (35.1% or 259 charges).

In 635 cases sentenced in the Magistrates' Court in the three years to 30 June 2023, each case included at least one charge of aggravated assault of a male aged under 14 years, or of any female. Among the 635 cases, 618 people were male and 17 people were female. The most common outcome for cases was a community correction order (27.4% or 174 cases).
