In the Magistrates' Court, 128 charges of fail to give a left change of direction signal before going left were sentenced in the three years to 30 June 2023. The most common sentence for a charge of this offence was a fine (73% or 94 charges).

In 121 cases sentenced in the Magistrates' Court in the three years to 30 June 2023, each case included at least one charge of fail to give a left change of direction signal before going left. Among the 121 cases, 103 people were male and 18 people were female. The most common outcome for cases was a fine (61% or 74 cases).
