In the Magistrates' Court, 114 charges of fail to provide internet, instant message, chat room, or other online user names as part of initial reporting obligations were sentenced in the three years to 30 June 2023. The most common sentence for a charge of this offence was imprisonment (42% or 48 charges).

In 56 cases sentenced in the Magistrates' Court in the three years to 30 June 2023, each case included at least one charge of fail to provide internet, instant message, chat room, or other online user names as part of initial reporting obligations. Among the 56 cases, 56 people were male and 0 people were female. The most common outcome for cases was a fine (41% or 23 cases).
