In the Magistrates' Court, 2,587 charges of negligently deal with proceeds of crime were sentenced in the three years to 30 June 2023. The most common sentence for a charge of this offence was imprisonment (45% or 1163 charges).

Case data

In 2,005 cases sentenced in the Magistrates' Court in the three years to 30 June 2023, each case included at least one charge of negligently deal with proceeds of crime. Among the 2,005 cases, 1,569 people were male and 436 people were female. The most common outcome for cases was imprisonment (29.6% or 594 cases).
