In the Magistrates' Court, 46 charges of registered operator fail to surrender a motor vehicle specified in an impoundment order were sentenced in the three years to 30 June 2023. The most common sentence for a charge of this offence was a fine (58.7% or 27 charges).

In 46 cases sentenced in the Magistrates' Court in the three years to 30 June 2023, each case included at least one charge of registered operator fail to surrender a motor vehicle specified in an impoundment order. Among the 46 cases, 34 people were male and 12 people were female. The most common outcome for cases was a fine (52.2% or 24 cases).
