In the Magistrates' Court, 164 charges of threaten to distribute an intimate image of another person were sentenced in the three years to 30 June 2023. The most common sentence for a charge of this offence was imprisonment (34% or 57 charges).

In 153 cases sentenced in the Magistrates' Court in the three years to 30 June 2023, each case included at least one charge of threaten to distribute an intimate image of another person. Among the 153 cases, 144 people were male and 9 people were female. The most common outcome for cases was a community correction order (22% or 35 cases).
